Php (or other) booking script with payments?

Ive built a business website for a friend, which is a van rental site. At the moment Ive included a basic booking calendar that they can log into and change ‘booked’ dates, but ideally, i want to incorperate a proper booking calendar, where customers can add dates they want, add ‘extra’ things they may need, and then the script adds up the whole cost, then allowing the customer to pay.

is there a good script (free or pay) that does this ?

Hmmm there are a couple of ways to do this.

Magento |(FREE) will in theory, or Ultracart (Paid) too…I’ve done something similar with a WordPress site last month for a client.
