What is the term for a Jewish person of Arab or Muslim descent?
I watched the movie “Arranged”, and when the young Muslim lady pretended to be an Orthodox Jewish matchmaker, the other woman referred to her later as a “Kafardic” (spelling???) woman. Thanks.
The worrd is “Sephardic” (adjective) it means a Jew from North Africa or the Middle East. The noun would be Sephardi (m) Sephardit (f)
