OMG, how awesome was the end to Cena vs Batista?

Not only did Cena win, but he made Batista look like an idiot in the process. Gotta love it. I’m on a bit of a downer after Mickie’s release, but that put a smile on my face.

I thought that whole match was fantastic, but the finish was great. I’ve never seen that before in a last man standing match, but when you think about it, that is a great way to make sure the other guy can’t stand up at the end. It was great seeing Batista scream as well (even though he might have had the funniest moment of the night. Did you catch that kid saying “I hate you Batista!” and Batista responding with “I hate you too!”. That was priceless).

BQ: No question, Cena-Batista. In my opinion, it stole the show. The spot with Cena FU’ing Batista through the announce table was just awesome. I thought that was the end of the match right then and there. Plus, it had some awesome close calls. I wasn’t sure if Cena was getting up from that spinebuster through the table (another great spot) or the Batista Bomb. That match was a great ride, and it was just really entertaining, especially towards the end.

BQ2: Hmm, tough call. For me, it’s a toss up between Triple H vs. Sheamus and Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton. Both were good matches (I was surprised at how good Swagger/Orton was. Has anyone else been really impressed with Swagger’s performances lately), and in the first one, Sheamus walked away looking like a monster. I loved the finish, with Triple H still defiant even though he knew he was beat, and the four kicks to the head. It made Triple H still look awesome without taking anything away from Sheamus.

In the Swagger/Orton bout, I thought having Swagger pick up the clean win was huge. I haven’t seen the draft yet, but at this point they really seem to be making an effort towards making him a strong and credible champion. He’s having a great reign so far.
